The Polar Plunge and After Splash Bash at Versailles State Park is one of twelve Plunges around the state. Last year’s event drew more than 300 Plungers and spectators. The Eighth Annual event promises all the chills and thrills that Plungers have come to know and love.

The Versailles’ Plunge features a HUGE heated festival tent with great entertainment, the Plunge Food Court, local vendor booths, the Razzle Dazzle Basket Raffle, face painting, games, and more.

Why do it…

All proceeds from this event benefit Special Olympics Indiana athletes in our community, giving them the means to train locally and to compete at the state level in a number of Olympic-type sports.

Form a Team

Round up ten or more of your friends and form a Plunge Team. Teams are eligible to win special awards for their fundraising performance. Each member must raise a minimum of $75. Teams are encouraged to pre-register at soindiana.org

Virtual Plunger

If you can’t make it to the Plunge, you can still support the cause by visiting www.soindiana.org and register as a Virtual Plunger.

Pee Wee Plunge

The Pee Wee Plunge is designed for children ages 11 and under. It takes place under a large, heated tent in a kiddie pool filled with “icy” fog. Participants will wade across individually, providing a less congested (but no less exhilarating) experience for the pint-sized plungers. The Pee Wee Plunge is scheduled at 12:30 p.m.

Plungers are encouraged to pre-register at soindiana.org.
