Hometown Screening
Through the course of his life — from Anderson, Indiana native to Major League Baseball pitcher to parent of a son with Down syndrome — Carl Erskine has made an immeasurable impact on Special Olympics Indiana! Now, as the country searches for true heroes, a new documentary has captured Carl’s inspirational, beautifully Indiana story for posterity.
In honor of Carl’s life and legacy, Special Olympics Indiana is proud to partner with award-winning filmmaker Ted Green in creating the film, The Best We’ve Got: The Carl Erskine Story.
This one-time special hometown screening will be held on Thursday, April 27th at the Gibson Theater. Doors will open at 6:15 p.m. with the show to follow at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are only $5 and available ONLINE or at the door on the night of the show, while supplies last. This special screening event is hosted by Special Olympics Indiana—Ripley Ohio Dearborn Counties, in partnership with The Gibson Theater.
Other hometown screenings are scheduled for May 10th at The Damm Theater, Osgood and on May 17th at the Greedale Cinema, Lawrenceburg.
