Schedule:
9:30 a.m. Arrival time. Uniform distribution.
10:30 a.m. Decatur Co Jaguars vs. ROD Hot RODs (Diamond 5)
Only one game. Winner will advance to the state tournament on Saturday, September 9th.
Check In:
Head Coaches must check in one hour before game time. Must have medical for each athlete, or athlete will not be permitted to play.
Coach/CVO Responsibilities:
During the tournament coaches/CVO are responsible for the supervision, transportation coordination, care, and getting athletes to their appropriate events. Parents please do NOT take your athlete somewhere without first informing a coach/chaperone.
Meals:
On your own. Concessions available on site.
Hydration:
Please drink plenty of water starting days prior to the game to assure proper hydration on game day. We are experiencing a high heat index this week, so please take the proper precautions to assure your safety and health. Please bring a refillable water bottle with your name on it.
No Smoking/No Alcohol Policy:
The use of tobacco and alcohol products at all Special Olylmpics venues is prohibited. This includes at the hotel rooms.
Pets:
No pets of any kind are permitted at any venue. Working dogs are permitted.
Medical Emergency:
Dial 911. Note: Dialing 911 from a cell phone may not contact the local area emergency personnel. Delegation Coordinator, Greg Townsend, is to be notified of all medical emergencies (812) 584-6861 as well.
