With new health and safety guidelines in place, Special Olympics Indiana held its first in-person state competition in more than nine months last week, as a small group of 34 athletes representing five delegations from across the state took part in the 2021 Indiana Winter Games at Perfect North Slopes in Lawrenceburg. Although the event was much smaller than usual, there was big excitement from everyone involved. Thank you to all the athletes, volunteers, and supporters who helped us host a safe and fun event this year, with special thanks to our friends at the Indiana Lions Clubs for their sponsorship of Winter Games!
