Help Us Win a VIP Experience at the 2022 Summer Games!
A friendly competition between county programs has been created for the program year 2021. The competition is meant to encourage participation in both in-person events and virtual challenges, as we transition out of a “pandemic” in hopes of one day we can all come together on one playing field.
The 2021 calendar has been divided into five seasons. Each season will consist of an in-person event and a virtual challenge. The first season consisted of the 2021 Winter Games and the New Year Fitness Challenge. Each county will earn points based on their participation in both the in-person event and the virtual challenge for that season.
Each county program has been placed into one of nine divisions based on their past participation. At the end of the year each participating county program will earn a cash prize in the form of a discount on their 2022 Summer Games registration frees. The county program winner of each division will also receive a “VIP Experience” at the 2022 Summer Games.
Information and registration for each season’s in-person event and virtual challenge will be posted on our Facebook page. The Spring Season is scheduled for March 7th – April 17th – more info coming soon.
Scoring
- COUNTIES PUT IN DIVISIONS (SIMILAR TO 2020 VIRTUAL SUMMER GAMES)
- COMPETITION BASED ON COMBINED PARTICIPATION NUMBERS FOR BOTH IN-PERSON EVENTS AND VIRTUAL CHALLENGES BY SEASON
- THE COUNTY IN EACH DIVISION WITH THE HIGHEST PARTICIPATION FOR THAT SEASON WILL RECEIVE 8 POINTS, 2ND PLACE = 7 POINTS, 3RD PLACE = 6 POINTS …..
- POINTS FOR EACH SEASON WILL BE ADDED UP TO DETERMINE THE WINNER FOR EACH DIVISION AT THE END OF THE YEAR
