  • October 19:  Unified Volleyball Championships

ATHLETE ELIGIBILITY: A completed online Athlete Registration and Medical Forms at         https://medform.specialolympics.org and a current Athlete Medical Form – Physical Exam must be on file with the Program in order to begin practice. The online Athlete Registration and an Athlete Medical Form  – Physical Exam has to be completed and signed by the athlete’s physician every three years. To check the date of an Athlete’s Medical Form – Physical Exam, please email our Program Coordinator, Greg Townsend, at gtownsend@soindiana-rod.org.

SPORT REGISTRATION:  Athletes interested in participating MUST attend Call Out to learn more about the event, practice location/schedule, receive fundraising materials, and to complete the sport registration form.

PLEASE NOTE:  Sport registrations will no longer be accepted by email, fax, phone call or text. If you are unable to attend the Call Out, it will be your responsibility to visit soindiana-rod.org to download the registration form (available online 72 hrs after Call Out date), complete the form in its entirety, and mail to Special Olympics Indiana—Ripley Ohio Counties, 429 Manchester Street, Aurora, IN 47001. This is the only way the registration form will be accepted and must be received within 10 days of the call out date. Please do NOT email, fax, or hand to a coach. MUST be mailed.

FUNDRAISING:  Everyone is expected to participate in our fundraising efforts. More information available at the Call Out.

NEW ATHLETES:  Must complete the online Athlete Registration and Medical Forms at        https://medform.specialolympics.org  PRIOR to attending their first practice. This includes the Athlete Medical Form – Physical Exam which needs to be completed and signed by a licensed medical professional and on file with the Program.
