2025 WINTER GAMES DATES: January 12-14, 2025
SPORTS OFFERED: Alpine Skiing, Snowshoeing, Snowboarding and Unified (all three sports) There are various levels of ability in each sport—Novice, Intermediate and Advanced.
Days and over night options available. One must be fairly independent in all aspects of self care for the over night option. Facilities are not suitable for assistance in shower area. Parents or caregivers are responsible for transportation to and from the slopes for day option.

3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Winter Fest
6:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. Dinner
7:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Opening Ceremonies
MONDAY, JANUARY 13 at Perfect North Slopes
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Practice
2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Competition: Preliminary Round (times will vary based on entries)
TUESDAY, JANUARY 14 at Perfect North Slopes
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Competition: Finals (times will vary based on entries)
11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Awards Presentations
3:00 p.m. Pick up athletes at the slopes
Registration fees will be paid for by the Delegation, unless you’ve registered to compete an do not attend. The Delegation will invoice you for reimbursement of the registration fee. You will not be permitted to register for another sport until invoice is paid.
ELIGIBILITY: Athlete eligibility to participate is determined by the completion of the Online Health History and Release Forms for Registration and an Athlete Medical Form—Physical Exam being on file with Special Olympics Indiana – Ripley Ohio Dearborn Counties. Please visit soindiana-rod.org/athlete to complete. MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE ATTENDING FIRST PRACTICE.
REGISTRATION: Athletes interested in participating MUST attend Call Out to learn more about the event, practice location/schedule, receive fundraising materials, and to complete sport registration.
PLEASE NOTE: Registrations will no longer be accepted by email, fax, phone call or text. If you are unable to attend the Call Out, it will be your responsibility to visit soindiana-rod.org to download the registration form (available online 72 hrs after Call Out date), complete the form in its entirety, and mail to Special Olympics Indiana, Ripley Ohio Dearborn Counties, 429 Manchester Street, Aurora, IN 47001. This is the only way the registration form will be accepted. Please do NOT email, fax, or hand it to a coach.
FUNDRAISING: Everyone is expected to participate in year round fundraising efforts. More information available at the Call Out.
