Please do not enter the building before 6:30 p.m.
Player Evaluations are meant to provide more insight into a team’s ability so that they are placed in the proper level during divisioning.
Player Evaluations will take place on the following dates at the Dillsboro Elementary School from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. anyone wishing to play basketball this season must attend these three evaluations:
- Monday, November 7
- Monday, November 14
- Monday, November 21
At the end of the evaluation process on Monday, November 21st, the Coaches, along with our Delegation Coordinator, Greg Townsend, and Athlete and Family Coordinator, Melinda Scripture, will review the evaluations and begin placing players on teams accordingly.
Possible teams are:
- 5on5 (Level 1,2,3, or 4) (Youth, Senior, Master) Full Court Play
- 3on3 (Youth, Senior, Master) Half Court Play
Team placement is determined by the results of the player’s evaluation.
Female players wishing to play on the Lady Hot RODs (all female team) do NOT need to attend these Player Evaluations.
Players are to come dressed appropriately for practice. Shorts, sweatpants, t-shirt or sweatshirt. No street clothes or shoes.
Each player is to bring a water bottle with his/her name clearly marked on the bottle.
